- How many nights a week do you practice?
On average 1 night per week/Higher U-Levels U10 and up may practice 2 times a week.
- What do kids need to play soccer?
Equipment needed to play: soccer ball, soccer cleats, shin guards, black socks, water bottle and black shorts.
- What ball size ball will you need?
Ball sizes are as follows:
U6 – U8 size 3 ball
U9 – U12 size 4 ball
U14 size 5 ball
U7 – U14 Levels – Travel to local teams within KMSL. (Washington County) Slinger (Polk), Jackson, Hartford, Kewaskum, Juneau, Hustisford, Richfield, Washington County (Ackermann).
- How early should we be at the games?
Decision made at coaches’ discretion.
- What are my volunteer opportunities?
Refer to the Volunteer Options List available via the website, we do ask for families to give at least 4 volunteer hours per season.
- How can I contribute or sponsor?
You can sponsor by buying a Banner or contribute by making a Donation.

- How do I become an official?
Go to KMSL or USSF websites for officiating class information.
- What do I do if I'm interested in coaching?
Contact the Slinger Soccer Club Board members, please consider coaching, we are always looking for coaches!
- What do we do in bad weather?
Play only stops if it is lightening outside.
- What are the participation fees?
Registration fee is $75.00 + Buyout/Volunteer fee $100.00 (per family). $175 for one child $250 for 2 children.
- What position will my child play?
Decision made at coaches’ discretion.
- What if my child wants to play in the fall or spring only?
If you register for fall, you’re automatically registered for spring. Sign-up for the Spring season is December and January.

Fall - Members will be contacted at the end of August by either the head coach or the team manager with practice and game schedules
Fall practices - Practices start at the end of August and run through October
Fall Games start at the beginning of September and run through October
Spring – Members will be contacted at the end of March by either the head coach or the team manager with practice and game schedules.
Spring Practices start at the end of March and run through the end of May (SSC doesn’t schedule games on Memorial Day weekend, however, other clubs do.)
Spring Games start at the beginning of April and run through the end of May.
- What day and time of the week are practices scheduled?

- What day and time of the week are games held?
Typically games are scheduled on Saturday mornings and early afternoons. (It is possible to have one/two weekday games on your soccer schedule.)
Are there any area indoor soccer programs for the winter so my child can continue to improve their skills?
