*Slinger Soccer Club encourages 10-11 year olds to become certified.
You would be eligible to referee our U05 and U06 divisions while gaining experience and confidence for the higher divisions when you become 12 years old.

Report Completion of Your On-Line Training

Please be sure to report completion of your On-Line Training to BOTH KMSL and to SSC
before the First Game Saturday to qualify to ref for the season.
*Attendance at On-Field Training will be reported back to KMSL and SSC on your behalf.*

Referees - New Certifications

If you certify in time for the Fall Season:

You will need to take AND pass the test again before the Spring Season begins (April 13th, 2024)

Update: As a change from previous years, the KMSL is having each individual club organize their own on-field training for refs.
Slinger will host a training session at Polk Fields on TBD.

Referees - Returning & Recertifying

Returning Referees

Recertification Timeline & Test

All refs are required to take a recertification test each year in order to be allowed to continue reffing.

Recertification is always done in the spring regardless of if you only started reffing the previous fall.

The test is currently open and will be open until the start of the Fall Season (September 9th, 2023)

There are also online training materials as well as a practice test available for you.
