Team Manager Responsibilities (More Info Coming Soon)

What am I responsible for as a Team Manager?
**Some coaches prefer to do do their own communication.
**Others LOVE letting their manager take care of things!
For those coaches preferring to do their own communications, you will need to take care of the things referenced below.

Active the Team's GameChanger App
After rosters are posted, the Team Manager (or one of the coaches) should activate the app for their team (see Game Changer Instructions)

Input Practices into GameChanger
The Coaches will work with the SSC Practice Coordinator to figure out practice nights, times and fields.

After the official Practice Schedule is published, the Team Manager can input practice nights, times and fields into the GameChanger App (do not enter these via the Team Directory).

Some coaches plan to wait a week to start up their season.  Sometimes coaches will alter after the game schedule is received.  Our recommendation is to publish a plan sooner than later - it is easier to remove a practice than it is to add a practice.  Families are busy and like to plan ahead.

Input Snack Schedule
Contact the Coach to see if they plan to have snacks, beverages or not.
If they want to allow snacks, inquire with the team about food allergies.

Input Picture Day Save-the-Date
Add picture day into GameChanger so families hold the date.
The ordering information will be emailed out by the Club Admin.
The Picture Day Schedule should be uploaded into GameChanger behind-the-scenes

Win/Loss Reporting at the End of the Season
Keep track in GameChanger or make a note.
Stats of the players is not important, just the win or loss status

Tournament Participation (U7-U14)
Ask the coach if they plan to participate in a tournament.
Our recommendation would be to add the tournament date as an "other" in GameChanger and then ask the team to RSVP if they are willing and available to participate. Then when the tournament registration opens, you can proceed with signing up.  See Want to Play More Soccer? for more information on tournament participation.

Paying the Referee (getting cash)
Some coaches would love for the Team Manager to handle getting the cash in the correct denominations to pay the refs after each home game.
